Memory Forward was interviewed by Permanent.org to discuss what sets us apart from other scanning services. We discuss how our backgrounds brought us where we are, how we use our knowledge of our clients to bring truly precious photo memories to their attention, how we use metadata to date and tag photos for use in online platforms, and so much more. It's a long one, but it's chock full of worthwhile tidbits.

Before you share that next photo online, consider what hidden information it might contain. Using an EXIF data removal service like MetadataRemover.org can help you quickly and easily strip out potentially sensitive details. This includes things like the exact location where the photo was taken (if GPS was on), the make and model of your camera or phone, and even the date and time. Taking a moment to clean your images before posting is a good habit for anyone who wants to maintain better control over their personal data and enhance their online privacy.

Hello from our founder, Laura Woolsey!

Laura founded Memory Forward in 2007 with the vision of preserving the visual histories of local Austin families. Over 15 years later, Memory Forward has helped hundreds of families enjoy their photos and videos again by bringing them into the digital age

If you have a closet (or two) stuffed with photos, albums, and videos we can help tackle the overwhelming task of organization and digital preservation.
